There’s always one.
Be it a disgruntled PETA protestor or the cat that crashed Dior’s show in Marrakech, every fashion season, it seems one unsuspecting show is disrupted by uninvited spectator participation.
And this Paris Fashion Week, it was Marie Benoliel’s turn, better known by her online alias Marie S’Infiltre. Storming the Etam runway last week dressed in silky silver lingerie and a sleeping mask, the French influencer took to the Chanel stage this morning and boasted about the feat to her 195,000 followers on Instagram.
In an utterly bizarre turn of events, Benoliel, dressed in (what at least appeared to be) Chanel, jumped on stage during the finale, inserting herself between two models and attempting to join in, before Gigi Hadid, realising what was happening, calmly escorted her off the runway.
There’s something to be said for going quietly, but we’re sure the comedian’s reasons for staging such a stunt will be appearing loud and proud on her IG any minute now.
