Icons know icons. Starring Whitney Peak, the lead of HBO’s Gossip Girl reboot, Margaret Qualley, best known for her role in poignant Netflix drama Maid, and model of the moment Lily-Rose Depp, Chanel’s latest campaign is case in point—it takes one to know one.
Part photography, part film, the campaign—which launches the Chanel 22 bag—was conceived and executed by creative Dutch duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, better known as Inez & Vinoodh. The films offer a glimpse into the life and character of three of 2022’s leading ladies, it-girls of here and now, filmed in Los Angeles, Palm Springs and New York.
