INDIE Podcast: Hengameh Yaghoobifarah on free speech and being habibitus

How Big Is Your **** ? is the 4-part podcast series where size doesn’t matter, perspective does. Brought to you as part of Calvin Klein’s ongoing #proudinmycalvins campaign, INDIE is exploring the concept of pride and how it manifests all year round—not just in Pride Month.

Above being a journalist, author, DJ, and podcaster, Hengameh Yaghoobifarah is an incredibly insightful thinker. Known on the internet by aliases @habibitus (on Instagram) and formerly Prada Loth, now Maus of Abundance (on Twitter), their work examines—and critiques—everything from anti-capitalism and racism to pop culture and fashion. Among their growing list of accolades, Yaghoobifarah has recently released a book—Ministerium der Träume—a queer novel about family, loss and love.

“When my mum said she was proud of me for my book, that was really emotional. My reputation has always been the gay cousin, the disappointment of the family, the one who is not the pride of the family, and now all of a sudden, I changed the roles.”

For the third episode of How Big is Your ****? Yaghoobifarah discusses career milestones, German media, and being habibitus.
