Last week, US health authorities advocated the use of cloth face masks for in day to day life. And while President Trump may have dismissed the advice, (“somehow I don’t see it for myself“) many are left wondering where to obtain one, given the shortage of supplies. Yesterday the ex-LVMH Prize winner who ‘disappeared’ from fashion, Thomas Tait, resurfaced with a tutorial that allows you to craft a face mask without any need for a needle and thread (Skill level: Us.) In partnership with UK-based charity Foundation for Change, Tait has conceived a paper pattern which can be downloaded and printed at home for free.
