To ring in the release of INDIE’s 63rd issue— AN EDUCATION—our friends at Berlin’s mainstay of all things fashion, Voo Store, helped us throw a fitting celebration in Kreuzberg this month. Over 200 guests, dressed to the nines, gathered in the industrial space discreetly located in a quiet courtyard off Oranienstrasse for an evening of drinks, music and great company amongst Voo Store’s curated wares. Berlin’s very own DJ Lawrence Lee, decked out in a look by MCM, supplied the sounds for the night, and while the music alone was certainly more than enough to keep even Berlin’s infamous music-snobs contented, a little bit of Dutch courage didn’t go amiss, as drinks were poured out throughout the night courtesy of our sponsors at Absolut Vodka, Thomas Henry & Mate Mate.
