HABEY CLUB

What’s the name of this collection?

Side Effects

What was the inspiration behind it?

We started the collection after watching the Norwegian film ‘Sick of Myself’, which deals, with humour and drama, with the continuous sensation of filling our emptiness, of being in the spotlight and attracting all eyes. The price to pay is set by each individual, as is the objective. With this, we manage to put ourselves in the shoes of everyone who manage to be icing on the cake, without paying attention to the side effects.

Side effects is a clear example of how we focus on pleasing, on fitting in, on erasing our limits and drawing new ones; all this with the aim of transforming ourselves and projecting something new, something far away from us.

If this collection was a song or movie, what would it be?

Of course it should be the film ‘Sick of Myself’—or ‘Independent Love Song’

A woman who carries elegance in her DNA, as something intrinsic to her very being.
