Florals for spring might not be groundbreaking, but they’re certainly a welcome source of inspiration as warmer climes approach. Such is the mentality of Berlin-based brand Hannes Kettritz, whose latest offering—Collection No° 6—serves up ’60s sass with a ’90s clubwear edge, complete with silk shirts and vibrant embroidery that’s fit to welcome in the spring.
Shown during Paris Fashion Week, Hannes Kettritz’s sixth womenswear collection is its most refined yet. Featuring ruffles, ruching and asymmetrical cuts and made from mostly natural fibres—namely cotton, linen and silk—sourced from Germany, Italy and France.
Sustainability is value that’s been central to Hannes Kettritz designs since the brand’s inception, and this collection continues along the same vein. With a focus on up-cycling and fair trade as well as eco-friendly transit and shipping methods, the label is making structural womenswear with a conscience.
