JOIN CAMPER AND KIKO KOSTADINOV ON THEIR JOURNEY TO REINVENT URBAN FOOTWEAR

Footwear brand Camper and designer Kiko Kostadinov joined forces and have just launched their debut collaboration. The result is a tribute to Camper Teix, an iconic trekking boot first released back in 1997, taking place in the framework of the brand’s ‘Together Project’, an initiative started in 2006, in which Camper collaborates with leading international designers from a variety of fields to create singular and exciting products.

With this new collaboration with Kostadinov, they seek to start a journey that will continue until reaching the next generation of outdoor-inspired urban footwear for F/W 2018. The Bulgarian-born menswear designer’s work is often influenced by uniforms and workwear and he instantly felt compelled to the Camper Teix model when going through the brand’s archives. Not one to back off a challenge, it was the boot’s progressive silhouette and construction that struck him, and now he has reinvented it for our times, with added volume and the latest water resistant GORE-TEX technology.
