GET SHADY: THE ORIGINAL VINTAGE RAY-BAN AVIATORS ARE BACK

We’ve all dreamt of owning the perfect pair; not only thought about the design but what would so obviously compliment our face shape and skin tone. Since 1937 Ray-Ban has been pioneering new technology through cutting edge designs. Thanks to visionary artist Dewey Saunders, each frame embodies culture, history and imagination, manifested from his modernistic digital collages and assemblages. The four classic Ray-Ban styles catalyzed our never ending Christmas list of abstract shades; each proving to be equally as essential, obviously.

Ray Ban Reinvented

The optics company was originally approached by a pilot who was determined to fly higher than those before him. To achieve this, he needed goggles that would protect pilots from light in high altitudes. The Ray-Ban Aviator was born. From “Fight to Flight” frames, solely introduced for the US military to slicked back leathery James Dean wearers – Ray-Ban is the brand that keeps on giving. Since the Aviator was created eighty years ago, it has continued to re-imagine and reinvent iconic products. To celebrate the ongoing success, Ray-Ban is reinventing it’s original shades, and you will be able to cop a limited edition of the very first Aviator from 1937 on their website and in selected flagship shops. Get spending – and channel your favourite throwback looks while doing so!
