The Taiwanese brand Necessity Sense has teamed up with the luxury retail company Lane Crawford for an exclusive capsule collection, celebrating one of Hong Kong’s most influential and legendary grunge rock bands of the 90’s, “Beyond“. Designers Richard, Michael and Steve Hseiesh continue their signature approach of exploring sportswear through varsity-style oversized jumpers and fine subtle details.
The collaboration combines traditional relaxed menswear with the band’s style influence on rock fashion in the 90’s. The stylish yet smart look is achieved by blending loose-fitted jumpers with printed stripped silk shirts and tailored cuts. Baggy high-waisted pants feature patterned stripes across the rim and are styled with minimalistic printed sweaters to exhibit the rock inspired contemporary fit.
