Heritage and talent meets the now versus the originals, these very important factors that have come together in creating this very special collection. A collaboration between two traditionally British brands: Fred Perry the all time classic and Thames London the brand born by the South London skate fame kid Blondey McCoy. We found it quite unique to see Fred Perry stepping away from their conventional prints and color ways, the selective collection features an almost comical Thames logo splashed on a popular Fred Perry polo as well as trainings jacket. It’s the ideal blend the young teaching the new, for 20-year old Blondey this is an absolute dream come true as the former Palace skater mentioned in how he came to this teaming up with Fred Perry.
“I was bored of skating in T-shirts, so I started wearing Fred Perry polo shirts and I guess they noticed. I love the silhouette. I’ve always liked what they do and how their clothes have been re-interpreted by so many different cultures and I always thought ‘I would love to see my logo on that’.”
The full vibrant collection will be dropping world wide on August 25th.
