As Berlin Fashion Week rolled in, I couldn’t help but involve myself somehow. Though I only had the time to look at one show (Thomas Hanisch) the main events definitely took place at night. Starting off with the Dandy Diary Fashion Week opening party on Monday! Swimming pools, naked, drunk people and viscous dancing dominated my impressions. Tuesday was the day I showcased my artwork for the relaunch of the “Gazelle” for Adidas Originals at the Gazelle Backyard Gallery. As the week continued – the Highsnobiety Party with live acts from no other than “Bonkaz” marked another highlight of MBFWB. Hip hop at its finest and of course a lot of urban streestyle! Meeting old friends and making new ones, like the whole Patrick Mohr crew, may mark a new turning point in my career as a fashion designer. As everyone in the fashion industry knows: contacts are very important. To sum it all up – MBFWB this season for me was more about connecting people and creating memories with friends in a fashion friendly but not necessarily fashion forward environment. Until next season!
