Only one year ago designer Tuomas Merikoski created the brand we now know, love and want to have – Aalto. Having worked for the likes of renowned designer brands such as Givenchy and Louis Vuitton after completing his studies in Paris, the Finnish designer founded the brand with an impressive experience.
While now settled in the French capitol, Merikoski holds very tight to his Finnish roots which he strongly likes to portray in his designs. He classes his works to a be a feminine play on elegant and sophisticated bases to strong urban fashion aesthetic. The Autumn/Winter 2016 collection is filled with mustard, tweed, bubblegum pink, daring patterns and everything we’d like to see in our wardrobes this upcoming season.
