We don’t know about you but our bucket list of summer festivals, raves and little outside-music-get-togethers is basically exploding. If you are enjoying these events as much as we do, make sure to not miss this year’s Frequency Festival putting a cherry on top of outdoor music season.
Maybe it’s a feeling of spontaneous summer fomo that’ll bring you to Austria’s number one indie music festival, or maybe it’s a lineup kicking off with a-list acts like BOYS NOIZE and TIGA.
In between getting your electro & techno hearts pounding you can relax and enjoy nature: the “Green Park” space includes a lake and wild nature zones. But make sure to be back on dancing-track for the headliners. Don’t miss DEICHKIND – known as the most colorful and fun live-performers, and BASTILLE, who will surely perform songs from their highly praised new album “Bad Blood”.
For some chilled, amorous sounds OH WONDER will be the best to keep your festival mood alive. Friday, 19th is packed with a great variety of sounds: Pick up some electro-swing-beats with PAROV STELAR and dance your butt off to KID SIMIUS‘ performance of Surf’n’Bass and catch some romantic vibes when Matt Simons brings piano-led songs to another level.
Saturday 20th will warm every nostalgic twentysomething’s heart and limbs – looking forward to be reminiscent of first heartbreaks and night-outs to the sounds of BLOC PARTY. Your body’s last bits of dance energy – be sure to keep some – will be needed for DIE ANTWOORD and once that energy is gone you can just dream and sway to some MASSIVE ATTACK. Geez, we might start to feel a little old. But then again we’ll be feeling old at a festival, so it really can’t be that bad.
